East High School Boys Rugby Football Club - Some Background

Mission statement

To promote teamwork, sportsmanship and hard fair play through rugby for the young men of Eash High School and central Denver. To celebrate the positive diversity of our inner city population.

Description: East High Rugby has been an official Club Sport at East HS since 1988 and we award varsity letters. The parent's organization is one of the strongest in the country and was featured in a four page article in the national publication, "Rugby Magazine" in 2004.

Tours: Team has toured every spring since 1997, including Salt Lake City, New Mexico, Des Moines, Kansas City and Omaha.

   Colorado Youth Rugby Sportsmanship in 2003, 2004, 2005. Ranked 8th in the nation in 1997.
