For more than 30 years East Rugby has fielded Varsity, Junior Varsity, and 8th/9th/10th Grade teams in 15s and 7s. All 8th-12th graders in the Denver area are welcome, no prior rugby experience is necessary.
East Rugby has won 8 State Championships (1997, 2002, 2004, 2009, 2015, 2018, 2021, 2022) and gone on over 20 out of state tours. We believe rugby empowers our kids to achieve their highest potential in sport, and more importantly, in their lives. In addition to support on the field, East Rugby strives to support both players and their parents off the field.

Each year our club travels out of state, a tradition called “Tour” in the rugby community. It is our goal that every player, regardless of their ability to pay or their rugby talent, is able to travel on tour with their teammates. Many times, the tour is the first time our players have traveled out of state, flown on a plane, or stayed in a hotel.
For the first time, this year our players are boarding a plane and flying to Los Angeles to play multiple matches against nationally ranked teams. Tour offers a remarkable experience for all of our players and the opportunity to compete in two matches, connect as a team, and grow as young men. They come back to Colorado a stronger team, inspired to accomplish their goals, committed to the success of the club, and with deep appreciation for the community that enables their experiences. Every player regardless of their ability to pay is able to travel on tour with their teammates, no player is ever left behind. Our tour scholarships are one of the many things that make East Rugby such an exceptional team.
East High Rugby is a club sport and is funded without help from the school. We are a 501(c)3 organization and our commitment to ensure all athletes come on tour is enabled by our generous community of sponsors and donors. Due to the cost of flights, our 2025 goal is to raise $45k for tour scholarships and reduce the cost of tour for our coaches who travel with the team. Through our community’s generosity, all of our players get to experience the abundance that team sport and travel has to offer.
We are excited to announce the upcoming Annual East Rugby Tour Fundraiser on March 18th at 6pm at Stoney’s Bar and Grill. We hope that you will join us for an unforgettable evening of entertainment, camaraderie, and fundraising. Please purchase your tickets online. If you are not able to attend please consider making a tax-deductible donation to give these amazing players an experience they will never forget.

The High School Pathway program is a collaborative effort between USA Rugby High Performance and USA Youth & High School Rugby. This initiative aims to identify, select, and progressively develop a large pool of 15-18-year-old players nationwide. These camps aim to discover and nurture emerging rugby talent across the United States, engaging them in intensive, sustained development towards USA U18s and national team competition.
The evaluation process is open to all USA Rugby-registered boys and girls players born in 2007, 2008, 2009, or 2010.
